Logistics Alliance and Policy Development Workshop was organized at Myanmar International Freight Forwarders’ Association (MIFFA) in Yangon on 6 November 2018 in collaboration with Mekong Institute (MI).
Mr. Than Aung, Board of Directors Member of Myanmar International Freight Forwarders Association (MIFFA), a collaborative partner for the project, opened the workshop and touched upon its objectives, expected outputs and outcomes, and promotion of the logistics alliance. The workshop also discussed truck condition, technology, infrastructure, human resource, overload cargo, and price of gasoline and diesel. There were 40 participants from 37 Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) attending the workshop.
After the workshop, there were a face-to-face technical consultant meetings between MI and Khit Lit One Logistics Co., Ltd, Grand Fortuna Co., Ltd, Mo Po Ko Co., Ltd, Htun Padetha Logistics Co., Ltd, Nature Cold Chain Co., Ltd, Hercules Logistics Co., Ltd, and Direct Delivery & Logistics. Logistic and transport challenges from daily practices were shared and business and investment plan were advised during the meetings.
