During 18-20 June 2018, GIZ organized the Training for Company (TOC) on Defensive and Eco Driving Batch 5 in Phnom Penh Autonomous Port (PPAP), Phnom Penh, Cambodia. PPAP also supported prime movers, classroom and practice yard for the training.
Both theory in classroom and outdoor practices such as blind spot, BEWAGON, safety belt, alcohol googles, on-road assessment, and eco-driving test were led by professional trainers from private companies and Land Transport Department of Ministry of Public Works and Transport. Based on eco-driving test during the training, it showed improved fuel efficiency improvement 17.97 and 35.29%.
There were 23 truck drivers from 16 Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) joining this defensive and eco-driving training.
